Shack Packet Radio Systems
56K
I inherited a number of WA4DSY 56K systems. I've never done anything with these systems, and perhaps I should be before they're totally useless.
Bill WA7NWP pointed out this interesting wrinkle for 56K and beyond - inexpensive 28 MHz to 222 MHz transverters. This seems too good to be true, but here it is: http://transverters-store.com/222mhz.htm
- Original Project page - http://www.wa4dsy.net/rfmodem.html

Normally an ISA bus PI card is used to interface to the 56K Modem. Perhaps it's possible to replace that with the GPIO pins of a Raspberry PI?
